Skyrim tries to load all hairs and such when you open showRaceMenu, but it is a cause of crashing. Webb13 juli 2012 · All you have to do is to go in the spells menu (in the powers tab), use the "ShowRaceMenu Alternative" spell and follow the instructions. Don't use directly the "ShowRaceMenu" command, it will not work. If your character has any legendary skills, you will need to launch Skyrim with SKSE to preserve them.
