Webb05-13-10-P4 with niftyperforce and no p4scc I'm trying using P4 in msdev with niftyperforce and no p4scc. What this means is VC thinks you have no SCC connection at all, your files are just on your disk. you need to change the default niftyperforce settings so that it checks out files for you when you edit/save etc.

WebbA couple of days ago, Noel emailed me about the source to NiftyPerforce since he wanted to make some changes to it. At this point I only had it on my local subversion repository. I'd heard about this cool feature google recently put up, google hosting , which should be interesting place to actually host a "real" project. Webb20 maj 2010 · In perforce this seems to work fine as long as I apply source control to individual projects as opposed to entire solutions. In fact, either the perforce plug-in, or visual studio itself, gives me a warning if I try to source control solutions that share common projects/libraries. The problems start happening when I try to branch solutions.
Webb26 maj 2012 · We're actually using NiftyPerforce, which just runs the p4.exe to issue source control requests - p4.exe doesn't appear anywhere in the callstack for the delete event, so I assumed it wasn't that.
