WebbI just bought a Thinkpad 600X. It came without a HDD and the CMOS battery was dead so I don't know when it was last used. I thought that updating the BIOS might be worthwhile, since I've read somewhere that a BIOS update partially fixed the battery issue these had and it is usually not a bad thing to do anyway.
